F A Q S
What is this site about?
This site is to archive in an orderly manner the B&W Viewer Bumps/Cards that [adult swim] plays between their shows and ad space. Since working on posting them on the [adult swim] message boards (in some way) over 3 years, I have taken it as my personal responsibility to help making them easier to read and find.
How do I get on TV?
Simple. You sign up for the Adult Swim Message Boards and find the floated/sticked "Dear Adult Swim" thread in the BUMPS section. There is also a chance of getting bumped from other parts of the boards as well, but this is the best place to start. A little tip: They like fan made stuff.
How do I know when I get on TV? Do they email [the user] beforehand?
You will know if you watch. They have not, at any time, told people they were going to be bumped, so if you want to catch it the first time, it is best to check out Sunday night. katt_goddess will usually post a rundown of all of the night's bumps in the "General Bump Discussion" thread. The viewer bumps are not transcribed, only summarized. As an aside, they do not email or message me either. Kind of takes the element of surprise out of it.
I missed my bump!!! Where can I see what Adult Swim said to me?!?!
There are three (3) options. One way is to catch the second run of Sunday night. If you miss Sunday entirely, you may be able to catch it during the weekday run. Another way is to look in this thread (do not post here) to see if it has been updated yet. This thread is usually updated early Monday morning. Yet another way is asking in the General Bump Discussion thread if there will be a video (or if they will be so kind as to upload one) at bumpworthy.com.
** This site will be updated on a weekly basis as well once everything else is up-to-date
I saw a flash of names listed last night. Was I on it and does it count as a viewer bump?
If a flash of names (from the boards) appears on the screen, it is usually not going to count as a Viewer Bump. It depends on the context. If you were on it, the list will usually be posted by someone at sometime. Occasionally the bump crew from Adult Swim will post the whole list for us, but most of the time it is the other regular users. Please understand that any large list like that can have mistakes if posted by a regular user.
Have I ever been bumped?
Good question. There are many places you can search to find out. The first place is here. Please note that most links posted in there do not work anymore due to the current board organization and archiving. This thread is updated monthly to bi-monthly. Another place, for a quick search, is here. This site is updated weekly. If you don't feel like searching, ask in the thread listed above and comedyswimfan089 or myself (mahala_la_la / Goodnight_Gracie) will answer your question.
** I hope to have a list here as well. So stay tuned!
Who has the most bumps? o.O
At the moment BEMaven with 20 bumps. There is a list here (where you can ask where you are on the listl) and a list here with top bumpees of the year as well.- - Last updated: February 09, 2013
What about regular bumps or Top Scores of the Week?
Regular bumps I can post on request - but only during the week it is airing, since I use the same tape to record each Sunday. NumyMufn may be able to assist with bumps further back. Note: It is much easier for her when there is a date (or time of year) and a general description of the bump. Top Scores of the Week are listed by terrorist96 weekly in the "Adult Swim Games" section of the message boards and he usually links to the post in the General Bump Discussion thread.
** They may or may not be listed here.
What are "bootleg bumps"?
Bootleg bumps are the result of [adult swim] nixing Thursday Night Viewer Night in which all bumps they played were viewer cards/bumps. When this happened, a few people on the boards decided to carry on in the Thursday Night tradition by culling posts from the "Dear Adult Swim" threads and posting them in order to let other members respond in an [as]-ish manner.

G E N E R A L R U L E S
Since I don't expect this site to see a lot of traffic, I'm just going to keep the rules short and simple.
Do NOT spam.
If you are caught spamming you will get banned. Consider this your warning.
Do NOT flame or troll.
I really shouldn't have to state this. After all, this is just a site to get more comprehensive [adult swim] Viewer Bump information.
Do NOT use excessive profanity.
Again, I don't think this will be a problem, but we shall see. There is already a profanity filter on the forums to cover most swears. Please let it do its job.
Do NOT upload excessively profane or obscene images as icons, signatures, or in posts.
This site is 13+ and that means no excessive profanity or any images that may be deemed "obscene". If you upload such an image, it will be taken down and you will be warned. If you do it again, you will be banned.
- Icon images may be up to 150 x 150 in dimension. - Signature images may be up to 500 x 150 in dimension. - Posted images may be up to 400 x 300 in dimension. - Images may be an animated gif, but don't go crazy.
Do NOT post excessively profane or obscene videos, by link or otherwise.
Again, this site is 13+. Let's keep this in mind as we post.
Keep general discussion in the General or Comments/Suggestion boards.
The whole point is to organize the viewer bumps so that they can be easily read and/or found. Posting in archival threads only behooves the purpose of the site.
- If you wish to help out, you may say as much via PM or post as much in the Comments/Suggestion boards. Do NOT, however, post in one of the archival threads without permission from one of the staff members. (I may set up a thread just for people to reply saying they want to help.)
November 05, 2013: bumperella changed the icon dimensions.

This isn't something for your kids. It's a collector's item.
This thread is to give props to those who have been on television [via] viewer cards. This thread, however, is not a thread to discuss the Viewer Bumps, or to post your Viewer Bump suggestions. Great place to ask where you are on the "The List".
Off-site list of users that have been listed in viewer bumps. Organized by year, month, and week, it gives a fast overview of who has been bumped. This site is meant to compliment the "Who's been bumped?" thread.

Visit bumpworthy.com to satisfy all your visual bump needs. Has some, but not all, viewer bumps ready for the viewing. Bumpworthy also lists the music used in each bump they upload, when known, and is open to anyone that can help identify music that isn't known.
